Unlocking Access to Legal Texts: The 9anoun Platform

9anoun platform

In a significant step towards promoting transparency and accountability, the 9anoun platform has been launched y Idarty in partnership with FNF Tunisia and Libya, to provide Tunisians with simple and intuitive access to Open Data legal texts. This innovative platform aims to facilitate relations between citizens and public institutions, mitigate potential conflicts, and empower citizens to better claim their rights.

The 9anoun platform contextualizes legal information in a simplified digital format, presenting thematic overviews and summaries that focus on the most vulnerable situations, such as violence against women and bounced checks. This user-friendly approach is designed to help civil society players in their activities and promote a culture of transparency and accountability.

To ensure the quality and accuracy of the platform, a committee of experts was established to review the content and confirm its scientific validity. The committee's input was invaluable, providing sound advice and valuable perspectives that enriched the project's implementation.

The 9anoun platform has received widespread support from various stakeholders, including the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Tunis Labor Inspectorate, The Dot, ONAT - Ordre National des Avocats de Tunisie, and ATJA - Association Tunisienne des Jeunes Avocats. These organizations have demonstrated their commitment to the project, providing technical support, expertise, and feedback to improve the platform.

The Ministry of Social Affairs has expressed its satisfaction with the work accomplished by Idaraty, particularly with regard to the communication strategy. This strategy has not only enhanced the visibility of public institutions' initiatives but also established a lasting relationship of trust with the team.

The Tunis Labor Inspectorate has also demonstrated its serious commitment to the 9anoun project, sharing its expertise and best practices during the first season of the 9anoun podcast. The podcast aims to highlight the work of the inspectorate and explain the Labor Code to both employers and employees.

The platform is a significant step towards promoting transparency and accountability in Tunisia. By providing citizens with easy access to legal texts, the platform aims to strengthen economic players' compliance with current laws, prevent conflicts between citizens and institutions, and support Open Gov efforts.

This platform is a valuable resource for Tunisians, providing them with a simplified and intuitive way to access legal texts and claim their rights. The platform's success is a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of promoting transparency and accountability in public institutions.
