That’s the spirit of Liberalism, that’s the spirit we need!
The authentic Liberal Academy was present also in 2021. Following the hygienic measures against COVID-19, the Young Liberals Greece and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, joined forces again meeting with talented members of the new generation from 20 to 25 July, in Halkidiki.

2. Kozani- The Liberal Roadtrip
During the Liberal Roadtrip, the team travelled to Kozani. The city impressed us positively with the hospitality, the infrastructures and the meaningful discussions that we had with the local administration and local community, in general. Despite our short stay, the city was fascinating, because it could combine entertainment and knowledge gaining at the same time.

1. Ioannina- The Liberal Roadtrip
The Liberal Roadtrip began from the west side of the country, having as a starting point the city of Ioannina. The historical beauty of the town and the element of distinctiveness and diversity is quite obvious in the city over the centuries. In fact, this characteristic helped us to choose the topic for our open evening discussion, which was “Distinctiveness, Diversity and the Fight against Discrimination."

Mayors and the "Restart"
The long-lasting lockdown was a challenging period for Greece. However, the liberal youth was looking for the right opportunity to do a “Restart”, in order to connect again with the society. Our Foundation, in cooperation with Young Liberals Greece, made this happen through a Liberal Road-trip in Northern Greece.
