CALL FOR A RESEARCHER: Enhancing Global Supply Chain Responsibility: Consequences of the EU supply chain law in Morocco.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) is looking for a dedicated researcher to spearhead a comprehensive study on the impact of the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) on Moroccan companies. This directive imposes stringent social and environmental standards on businesses, posing significant challenges for companies involved in EU supply chains.
Project Overview
This research project aims to identify the challenges and opportunities Moroccan businesses face in complying with the new EU legislation. The study will include in-depth interviews with company leaders, policy makers, and sustainability experts, as well as field visits to observe compliance practices. The final report will provide actionable recommendations to support Moroccan companies' transition to sustainable business practices and inform policy adjustments.
Researcher Responsibilities
