The event built on discussions from the recent Training of Trainers, shifting the focus to educating voters in preparation for the upcoming elections.
Around fifty seasoned members of KL attended the assembly, where Atty. Leila De Lima, the group's leader and Mamamayang Liberal (Liberal Citizens) First Nominee, addressed the participants via video message due to her commitments with the elections. In her remarks, she highlighted the importance of these assemblies in mobilizing women leaders to actively participate in the election process, particularly in combating disinformation.
Former Congressman Erin Tanada, third Mamamayang Liberal nominee also provided insights via video and letter where they praised KL for their dedication in organizing such initiatives and encouraged attendees to remain resilient in their efforts despite the challenges they face.
Atty. Karry Sison, Managing Trustee of the Center for Liberalism and Democracy, led a session on the party-list system to equip the participants with vital knowledge about the political process and how it impacts the upcoming elections.

They also discussed strategies for engaging other advocacy groups, particularly the supporters of former Vice President Leni Robredo, known as "Kakampinks," to join forces in promoting their cause.
To address these issues, a workshop was held to brainstorm practical solutions and strategies that would help overcome the obstacles faced by the group.
Additionally, KL will also leverage social media, through podcasts to be posted in their Kapihan with my sis (Coffee session with my sis) Facebook page, to reach a broader audience and promote their campaign, especially in areas where in-person sessions will not be possible.
As the initiative continues to grow, KL remains dedicated to advocating for women’s rights, democracy, and community empowerment across the country. FNF Philippines has also pledged its support to help KL achieve its goals and further celebrate women's freedom.
