Award Ceremony held for the Friedrich Naumann Scholarship Program

Five new scholarship holders of the Friedrich Naumann Scholarship Program were selected for the summer semester of 2016. It is the 4th round of the scholarship program since this FNF-Hanyang cooperation program had been introduced in 2014. The goal is to financially support graduate students majoring in the field of local autonomy and public administration and to contribute to the development of the Korean local autonomy.

New scholarship holders, having various carriers such as Tax Accountant or Local Government Official joined the awarding ceremony held in the FNF Office in early June, and shared their study plans.

Furthermore, three scholarship holders from last semester also attended the ceremony, which made the meeting and discussion more active and lively.

New Scholarship holder, Kim, Hak-won, who is a graduate student and (at the same time) member of Icheon City Council said, he is expecting that this program will go on and serve as a good networking base for both sides.

For every semester, the Friedrich-Naumann Scholarship Program awards scholarship to five graduate students – including doctorate course – majoring in local autonomy and public administration at Hanyang University.
