Bi-annual Award Ceremony of the FNF Korea-Hanyang-Scholarship Program
Every semester, the Scholarship Program of Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation Korea (FNF Korea) awards scholarships to five graduate students and PhD candidates majoring in local autonomy and public administration at Hanyang University. The selection of candidates is done by the Center for Local Autonomy (CLA), our long term partner. This time, which is already the 5th awarding since this FNF-Hanyang cooperation program had been introduced in 2014, financial support was given for the winter term 2016.
The new scholarship holders, who are working for well-known companies like the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) or in local administrations, introduced themselves and shared very humorous anecdotes. Surprisingly, one former colleague, who had worked for FNF Korea in end of the 1980s, was among the new scholarship holders.
