SimDemocracy session at Beondong Middle School
In the beginning of September, the Korean office of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) has again organized a SimDemocracy session at a public school with its partner organization Youth Alliance for the Future of Korea (YAFK).
This time, the SimDemocracy Session was held at Beondong Middle School with about 20 students. The board game designed by Thailand office of FNF gives students the chance to explore the concepts of democracy and budget planning by playing and debating together. In the end of the session, the students have conducted a free election to choose a class representant after they had introduced themselves by speeches.
FNF Korea is delighted to see the young generation of Korea to engage lively in democracy and is looking forward to more events of this kind to support the democratic political education in Korea.
