Climate Action

Climathon 1.0

In collaboration with the (ADN) Academy of National Dialogue, we recently hosted the inaugural Climathon 1.0 event in the city of Ain Dirham from July 4-7, 2024.

This unique demonstration took the form of a camp, bringing together a diverse group of young individuals who are passionate about environmental issues and eager to make a difference in the fight against climate change.

Throughout the event, participants were immersed in workshops and training sessions focused on climate change and its various impacts. They also had the opportunity to embark on field visits to witness firsthand the effects of climate change and explore local solutions being implemented in response.

One of the highlights of Climathon 1.0 was the chance for participants to engage with rural women living in the region. These women shared their personal experiences of how climate change has affected their lives, offering valuable insights and inspiring the youth to think creatively about addressing these challenges.
