Annett Witte is a specialist in tax law by profession and began her career as Personal Assistant to Vice President of the Bundestag Dr Hermann Otto Solms. After working in the State Chancellery of the Free State of Saxony and for the Commissioner for Military Affairs of the German Bundestag, she became head of the Foundation's Liberal Institute until September 2021. Since 10 December 2021, Annett Witte has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
