About FNF Baltic States : About FNF Baltic States
Our work focuses on strengthening security and defense policy cooperation between the Baltic states and Germany - including all member states of the European Union and NATO in the Baltic Sea region. Particularly in connection with the permanent stationing of the German Bundeswehr brigade in Lithuania, the foundation supports netwoking between civil society, military and politics. In this way, the foundation seeks to improve joint defense capabilities.
A second focus is exchange on the topics of innovation and digital transformation between the Baltic states and Germany. The exchange of digital solutions from business, society and the state is intended to promote innovation capabilities.
The foundation has been active in the Baltic states since Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania regained their independence. Since 1993 with an office in Tallinn, Estonia, later coordinated from Prague, since 2024 with its Freedom Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.
