Dr Medha Bisht is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations, South Asian University, New Delhi; and a former Associate Fellow, at Manohar Parrikar IDSA. She has extensively written about Hydro diplomacy in South Asia with stakeholder engagement. She has also given her keynote speech at many workshops and conferences in South Asia. Her area of interest are International Negotiations and Civil Society Participation, Multi-Stakeholder Processes, Bhutan, Transnational Water Issues and Dams in South Asia. She is a member of regional and national civil society forums on climate change and water and has done consultancies with UNIFEM, UNDP, IUCN, OXFAM, DFID/Asia Foundation, Mine Action Canada, ICIMOD with a focus on civil society, water diplomacy, climate change women and governance. She also co-led a Winter School on Inclusive Water Governance and water diplomacy at the national, regional and international levels.
