We are pleased to announce the release of the first episode of "Migrentreprenreurs" !
The Franco-German podcast series "Migrentrepreneurs" is a joint project of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the Association of French-German Voices of Youth. The podcast presents extraordinary life stories of migrants who decided to start a business in France or in Germany. We discuss with academics, policy makers and private actors to understand how migrant entrepreneurs enrich our economies and societies and what the link is between innovation and migrant entrepreneurship. Migrentrepreneurs is available in the original German-French version, as well as in German with English subtitles and in French.
In the first episode, we talk to Flavien Marcon, staff member at the French General Secretariat for European Affairs, and Dr. Alexandra David, research associate at the Institute for Work and Technology. Together with our guests, we define which groups fall under the term "migrant entrepreneurs", what obstacles they face on their way to successful entrepreneurship, and what legal frameworks exist for migrant founders in Germany and France.
We look forward to your feedback on our first episode and hope to count you among our listeners in the future!
