Natália Tkáčová joined the Prague office in April 2024. She is a Slovak expert in disinformation, hybrid threats, and foreign malign influence, focusing on Central Europe. She holds two Master's degrees in International Relations (Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, and Metropolitan University Prague, Czech Republic). Her commitment to security has been reinforced by specialized security (PSSI, Adapt Institute, OSCE/UNODA) and diplomatic (Štefan Osuský Summer School) trainings. She is also the Transatlantic Security Initiative IV fellow and the OSCE Pool of Young Experts member. Ms Tkáčová has published several papers on information security (Disinformation on Telegram in the Czech Republic: Organizational and Financial Background; Istanbul Convention in the Czech Republic: Debate Dynamics, Key Actors, and Communication Recommendations; and more) and has appeared on the Infosecurity.sk podcast. She is fluent in Slovak, English and Spanish.

The pro-European majority successfully counters the attack from the right
The 2024 European elections were characterised by a high voter turnout and intense political debates. Despite the rise of extreme right-wing and left-wing parties, the political centre was able to maintain its position. This ensures the continuation of European integration, the protection of democratic values and increased defence cooperation. A clear signal to the world: the EU remains a stable and unified force.

Second term: Lithuania's head of state Nausėda re-elected
Contract extension for Gitanas Nausėda: Lithuania's president won the run-off election on Sunday and by a clear margin. The 60-year-old economist and former banker, who has been at the helm of the most populous Baltic state since 2019, won 74.5 percent of the valid votes cast. His opponent, Christian Democrat Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, received the remaining quarter of the votes.
