Questionable election victories and the sudden appearance of an ex-president
The ruling Georgian party "Georgian Dream" won the local elections with a comfortable margin. The oppositions wishes that the outcome would lead to early parliamentary elections was not fulfilled. Several opposition parties and NGOS immediately spoke of major flaws and election rigging. What these claims will lead to is yet uncertain.
