Sahra joined FNF’s Brussels office in June 2023. She manages activities regarding EU Institutions, foreign and development policy, as well as France.
Before joining FNF, Sahra worked in a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy, mainly advising clients on financial services policy. She holds a Bachelor’s in European Studies and a Master’s in European Public Affairs, both from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

The pro-European majority successfully counters the attack from the right
The 2024 European elections were characterised by a high voter turnout and intense political debates. Despite the rise of extreme right-wing and left-wing parties, the political centre was able to maintain its position. This ensures the continuation of European integration, the protection of democratic values and increased defence cooperation. A clear signal to the world: the EU remains a stable and unified force.

FNF Europe Event Explores Liberal Perspectives on Ukrainian Integration
On 6 December, FNF Europe hosted the event “Liberals Leading the Way to Ukrainian Integration” in the FNF office. Following the recent adoption of the European Commission’s 2023 Enlargement Package on 8 November, the event build on the recommendation to open accession negotiations with Ukraine (which still needs to be voted on by EU Member States).
