50 years abroad: Ceremony with Chairman Jürgen Morlok

In 1963, the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom (FNF) opened its first office abroad, in Tunis, Tunisia. Fifty years later, the FNF has offices in more than thirty cities worldwide and activities in about seventy countries.

The 50 years anniversary was celebrated in the President Hotel in Seoul with special guest Professor Jürgen Morlok, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, from Karlsruhe, Germany. Beside him Kim Chong Yang, Chairman of the Hanyang Foundation, and Rolf Mafael, Germany's Ambassador to the ROK, attended the ceremony and gave speeches. About 120 guests - officials, FNF-partners, alumni and friends - participated.

FNF Korea office in Seoul is part of the FNF international network. It was opened in 1987 and is in charge of the activities in South and, for about ten years, North Korea and the monitoring of the political situation in Japan. The office is located at Hanyang University Campus.
