Special Lecture by Dr. Sethaput Suthiwart-Narueput
Invited by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Korea office and the Youth Alliance for the Future of Korea, Dr. Sethaput Suthiwart-Narueput, Executive Chairman of the Thailand Future Foundation gave a special lecture on the challenges that youth of Thailand are facing in terms of education and job, as well as his extensive experiences working at the World Bank.
During the lecture held in Seoul on May 24, he pointed out the need of a society to create opportunities needed to realize the potential of the youth, which both Thailand and Korea unfortunately seem to fail to do so. These opportunities indeed should come from a good education and a good job in this process, he stressed. Very lively Q and A session followed his lecture with many questions from the floor, covering many issues including global economic issues, the role of the World Bank as well as the Dr. Sethaput’s own experiences at the Bank.
