On November 29, 2024, Davit Iasashvili, a former military officer, was arrested during a pro-European demonstration in Tbilisi. What followed was a harrowing experience marked by severe physical violence, a lack of medical assistance, and legal proceedings that relied solely on police testimony without independent evidence. Davit was beaten, pepper-sprayed, and sustained serious injuries before being taken into custody.
