International Conference "International Trade and Investment towards Green and Digital Transformation" (CIECI 2021)
On the November 26th, 2021 in Hanoi, FNF Vietnam in collaboration with VNU/University of Economics and Business (UEB), University of Adelaide (Australia), and National University of Chengchi (Taiwan), successfully co-hosted the international conference on “International Trade and Investment towards Green and Digital Transformation” via ZOOM. The conference has drawn so much attention from state agencies, international and national experts, researchers, scholars, press agencies, and a broad audience interested in sustainable development, digital transformation, and green growth.
The fourth industrial revolution with significant technological advancements has transformed the entire socio-economic system of Vietnam. To recover the economy in post-COVID19 time, the country should mobilise all its resources to promote International Trade and Investment towards the integration of Digital Transformation and Green Economy.
As part of project activities devoted to boosting Digital Innovation and Transformation throughout 2021, the conference aims to enhance both academic and practical exchange as well as to create an open-sharing forum for national and international scholars, experts, and businesses to discuss greening and digitalizing international trade and investment activities.
The conference consisted of 2 discussion sessions. In the morning, representatives of co-organisers presented key findings of different research on the key role and diverse facets of digitalising and greening the economy. In the afternoon, 3 key topics were parallelly discussed, including (1) Green economy, (2) Digital economy, and (3) Sustainable Development. The active participation of domestic and foreign researchers has contributed to clarifying further morning presentations and strengthening cross-national academic exchange.
