Animate Europe goes Strasbourg: our exhibition at the World Forum for Democracy
The World Forum for Democracy (WDF) is a platform that fosters democratic participation and strengthens democracies by showcasing innovative projects and grassroot initiatives by decision-makers and activists.
From 6th to 8th November, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation presented the Animate Europe + comics at a stand at the European Council, where more than 100 countries from all continents were represented. Between plenary sessions, labs and forum talks, the 2500 participants had a closer look at our exhibition and explored the foundation's work. As the main theme of the WDF this year was "Is democracy in danger in the information age?", our publication on Fake News and our Human Rights Report were especially of interest to the participants, next to our comic competition, which was the favourite of many visitors.
