Animate Europe
Exhibition at the Fundamental Rights Agency

We exhibited our Animate Europe comics in Vienna at the Fundamental Rights Agency! From 25th-27th September, the Fundamental Rights Forum took place in Vienna, and as human rights are a core topic for our foundation, we were honoured to present our Animate Europe project there. The Forum is a unique space for dialogue on the pressing human rights challenges in the EU. It is an opportunity to engage in new conversations and shape critical human rights agendas. Over three days, it hosted open sessions, inspiring talks and panel debates. A global network of strategic partners shaped the programme. The Forum aimed to reboot human rights conversations. It was a space where inventive people from many walks of life could connect, reflect and act. Young people from across Europe contributed actively to the debates, including in sessions run by themselves. Participants engaged with a Living Library. People shared their front-line stories about marginalisation, discrimination, stereotypes and prejudices. The Forum’s Virtual Zone showcased innovative and experiential tools for human rights advocates. Overall, more than 700 participants visited and had a closer look at our comics and our work in general.
