It's festival time: Animate at Jubel Festival in Brussels!

Jubel is the first European democracy festival in the heart of Europe. From 6th-8th September, we had the opportunity to show our open-air exhibition with our comics from Animate Europe 2017 and 2019 at the festival. Additionally, we had our own stand where one of our finalists from Animate Europe+, Marta Okrasko, held two workshops. The first workshop was called "What do Kids in Europe eat for breakfast?" - children were invited to draw different types of breakfast that are typical for specific countries. The second workshop, called "Create your own EU puzzle", gave children the chance to create their own puzzles with an EU related theme. Both workshops were very successful and the festival welcomed more than 800 visitors in total.
