Alberdi was buried on Buenos Aires’ famous Recoleta cemetery. However most Argentinians today come to visit the nearby grave of Evita Peron, who helped her husband Juan to ruin the country - and not that of Alberdi, who, perhaps did more for his country than anyone else.
