Job Overview

He/She will be responsible for Finance Administration.  This will involve providing support with various tasks related to Finance booking and cash maintenance. As on-the-job training, it will be provided as part of the induction to familiarize Him/Her with relevant systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation of receipts and vouchers and their relevant formats, accounting Lebanese law.
  2. Bookkeeping in FNF internal accounting system
  3. Apply the basic accounting principles, knowledge, and techniques to analyze the variances, assist in production of journals, and perform routine accounting activities.
  4. Ensure all invoices and expenses are authorized and accounted correctly.
  5. Ensure that all forms are filled based on FNF rules.
  6. Complete vouchers with all supporting documents
  7. Support the process and routines in compliance with FNF administrative guidelines and procurement policy.
  8. Assist with inventory and assets management
  9. Assist in proper functioning of an archiving and documentation system, including scan and uploads in internal system, in accordance with FNF archive rules.
  10. Input the cash transactions and maintain files of cash receipts and payments vouchers.
  11. Translate financial documents, bills and receipts.
  12. Assist in HR filing related to staff and update it.
  13. Undertake any other reasonable duties, related with the job title, as may be determined by the Project Director and the Regional Finance Coordinator.
  14. Assist in Contacting relevant personnel to address compliance and legal matters.
  15. Assist in addressing and resolving internal auditor feedback and remarks.
  16. Cash management
  17. Creating the yearly budget of the project and follow up on the developments
  18. Ensure the cash flow in the project

Essential:

  1. Relevant Accounting/Finance qualification(s).
  2. Numeracy skills & attention to detail.
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills.  
  4. Knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
  5. Experience of maintaining spreadsheets.
  6. 1 to 3 years of experience in the field.
  7. Good command of English and Arabic.
