Project Watan Youth Camp

In partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Project Watan organized a special day for university students entitled "Youth Lead" on "the art of leadership", youth activism and the role of youth in political decision-making processes.

The meeting, in which more than 80 young people from various Lebanese regions, included political, cultural, environmental and entertainment activities, on Saturday 2 September 2023 in "Chahtoul Camping Site".

Through multi-disciplinary activities, the participants were introduced to the concepts of Leadership and team management, including different team building exercises. The participants also learned about Liberal values, and different forms of government.

Member of the Lebanese Parliament, Founder and President of "Project Watan" Mr. Neemat Frem attended the event. He addressed the participants by stressing on Project Watan’s work to create areas for dialogue that bring together the young people of various regions, and affirmed that the main goal is to reach the happiness of the citizen by securing social safety and self-realization. He also pointed out that young people should organize and act in all fields. He called on the youth to contribute to Project Watan and its development through universities, wishing to walk together towards a better Lebanon.

The meeting concluded with an evening fire and a nice musical atmosphere.
