V&V Award 2022

The V&V award is an essay writing competition for high school and university students launched by Rakiza in partnership with FNF Beirut office and Injaz Lebanon, where they answer 2 questions around economic values in an 800-word essay. As put by Mr. Reda Maamari, Director of Rakiza “the Value and Values Award puts Lebanon’s youth at the heart of this debate, giving voice to the Lebanese who will create and live with the new economic model of Lebanon.”

After 120 essays were submitted, a group of finalists was selected by a jury committee for the final round where they received editorial support by a team of experts to finalize their essays.

Finally, the finalists and their families were invited to an award ceremony at the Sursock Museum where the winners for both school and university category were announced in a nice atmosphere of debate around the economic concepts at the heart of the discussion.
