Together with the European Union Delegation to the Philippines and De La Salle University, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) invites you to join us in the upcoming National yoEUth Debate, which will be held on Tuesday, 23 May 2017, 9 a.m. at The Verdure, 4 /F Multi-purpose Room, Henry Sy Building, De La Salle University Manila.

We are inviting young debaters nationwide to participate in this whole-day event. We are expecting at least 150 guests including representatives from the academe, CSOs, media, and the international community.

We envision the yoEUth debate as a platform for the youth to present their views and deliberate on issues in the areas of economic liberalization and human rights. The yoEUth Debate will feature an Asian Parliamentary format on economic liberalization in the morning, and a Town Hall format on human rights issues in the afternoon. The debate format is chosen to allow the audience, which would mainly be composed of students, to grasp the arguments on both sides of the coin.
