Netzwerk

A strong network of scholarship holders, alumni and teaching staff is what distinguishes the work of gifted students. As a scholarship holder, you can make many contacts for your future career.

Student contacts at the university location

Our beneficiaries live and study at universities and technical colleges throughout Germany and abroad. They organize information events and round-tables on site, attend events together, or meet up for a barbecue. They implement their ideas and are active together. Among themselves, they choose the contact persons at the university location to assume on-site communication.

Liaison lecturers

Most universities and colleges have honorary liaison lecturers from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. They are important contacts for our fellows. They meet regularly for individual discussions. Lecturers are also available for individual advice on study or career planning. In addition, they promote exchanges among the fellows on-site by doing things together with the student contacts at the university location, encouraging excursions or discussions, or even visiting an exhibition, going to the theatre, or cooking.

Alumni

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom has been awarding scholarships to talented students and young researchers for over 40 years. Around 7,000 people have been supported over these four decades. In the meantime, our alumni have taken different career paths. They have become scientists, judges, social workers, teachers, politicians, journalists, or artists. Many of them are still closely associated with the Foundation to this day.
