Do you have good to very good grades or academic achievements, are you interested in politics, are you committed and have a liberal, cosmopolitan attitude? Then the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is the right place for you and you can apply for a scholarship here. We support German and foreign students who study full-time at state or state-recognized universities and technical colleges.

Unfortunately, we cannot support the following:

  • Second degrees
  • Part-time degrees
  • Distance learning courses that are not completed full-time
  • Advanced and supplementary degree courses
  • Bachelor programmes for foreign, non-EU students
  • Studies during their final phase (the minimum funding period is 2 semesters when starting the scholarship)
  • Any type of project (internships, language courses, travel subsidies, etc.)
