Release of New Episodes with Upgraded Branding

“FreedomGraph” is a series of infographics produced by the Regional Office of FNF East and Southeast Europe. FreedomGraph aims to summarize, analyse and visualize in compelling ways the principles, ideas and issues that are important for the Foundation and for liberal thought. FreedomGraph gives you the freedom to inform yourself and reach your own conclusions. We hope it inspires debate and further research.

We have just recently released a new video intro and outro.

Watch all FreedomGraph episodes in the website section, or on the special playlist in Freedom TV Europe, our YouTube Channel.

Skilled Migration and Brain Drain FreedomGraph

This episode of FreedomGraph focuses on Skilled Migration and Brain Drain. We discussed these issues in our panel discussion during Forum 2000 conference in Prague, devoted to "Democracy and Education" as part of Freedom Week 2015.

The following key issues are addressed in this FreedomGraph:
- Did you know that 3% of world’s population live abroad?
- Learn about where do migrants in the OECD countries come mainly from?
- Find out what the trend is with the emigration rates of the highly educated people?
- Which are the top sending countries of highly educated migrants?
- What is “brain waste”?
- Questions to think about: 1. Does the brain drain have a negative effect on the modernization process in the countries of origin? 2. Does the quality of education and the universities influence the migration of students and graduates? 3. Are restrictions on the freedom of movement in the EU required in order to reduce the migration of highly skilled persons?

Roma Integration: Our Liberal Policy Recommendation. FreedomGraph

This episode is devoted to the fact that in Europe 12 million people are deprived of their full rights as citizens and denied equal opportunities - because they are Roma. The Roma are the most segregated and most despised minority in Europe, their integration poses one of the greatest challenges especially in the countries of Central and Southeast Europe.

The project of FNF and partners called “Liberals Making a Difference: A Project on Roma Integration in Central and Southeast Europe” has resulted in two publications on the topics of “The Situation of the Roma Minority in Selected New Member States of the European Union” and “Integration of the Roma in Central and Southeast Europe: Liberal Policy Recommendations”. The latter policy paper is available as well in Bulgarian language. A series of videos has been produced including a trailer, short and long documentary films on Roma Integration, complemented by the current infographic that summarizes and visualizes the thirteen liberal policy recommendations.
