#JustLikeYou Video Contest

You still have the choice to send your video LGBT stories to 10 June, midnight.

The Project Office for Southeast Europe of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, jointly with the Sofia Pride Organizational Committee and GLAS Foundation, has the pleasure to announce the #JustLikeYou Video Contest for participants from Council of Europe member states. The contest features two categories of participants: Bulgarians submitting works in Bulgarian, and international contestants submitting works in English. The contest is part of the #JustLikeYou campaign, which includes also an international conference to be held in Sofia on 26 June 2015 in the Information Bureau of the European Parliament in Bulgaria.

All interested participants are invited to submit original videos, telling their own #JustLikeYou stories within up to 2 minutes. Creative freedom is virtually unrestricted, the only requirement being to end their videos with the contest slogan: “I am a human being just like you – I deserve the same respect, the same rights”. Participants are expected to upload their videos on the official contest Facebook page, with the name of #JustLikeYou Video Contest, by midnight on 10th June.

The winners will be selected based on the highest number of Likes and Shares in Facebook, one in each category - Bulgarian and international.

The prize for the Bulgarian winner is а plane ticket to and two-night accommodation in Vienna, Austria, for Vienna Pride 2015 (20th June). The prize for the international winner is а plane ticket to and two-night accommodation in Sofia, Bulgaria, for Sofia Pride 2015 (27th June).
