For almost six months Dr Rainer Adam calls Sofia his new home. Last September, he moved to Bulgaria in order to take over as the new Regional Director for East and Southeast Europe of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Now that the suitcases are unpacked and he has settled into the usual routine, we asked him about his first impressions and about what is on the list for this year:
