In Europe, 12 million people are deprived of their full rights as citizens and denied equal opportunities - because they are Roma. The Roma are the most segregated and most despised minority in Europe, their integration poses one of the greatest challenges especially in the countries of Central and Southeast Europe.

The project of FNF and partners called “Liberals Making a Difference: A Project on Roma Integration in Central and Southeast Europe” has resulted in two publications on the topics of “The Situation of the Roma Minority in Selected New Member States of the European Union” and “Integration of the Roma in Central and Southeast Europe: Liberal Policy Recommendations”. The latter policy paper is available as well in Bulgarian language. A series of videos has been produced including a trailer, short and long documentary films on Roma Integration, complemented by the current infographic that summarizes and visualizes the thirteen liberal policy recommendations.
