Voices of Tolerance: Marek Tatala, Poland
Marek Tatala is one of the Promoting Tolerance 2017 fellows from Poland. He is a Vice President of the Civil Development Forum (FOR) and an Editor-in-chief of the Blog “Obywatelskiego Rozwoju”. His research areas are public finance, law and economics, rule of law, transparency, political economy, institutional/policy reversals and populism. Academically, Tatala pursues a PhD degree at the Warsaw School of Economics and is a Research Associate of Professor Leszek Balcerowicz. Furthermore, he is an alumnus of the Atlas Leadership Academy by the Atlas Network.
For me one of the biggest threats of populism is the destructive populist competition.
