The Global Forum focuses on the industrial ecosystem of manufacturing in the city and its evolution. It introduces the current status of the manufacturing network in Sewoon-Euljiro-Cheonggyecheon in the center of Seoul and the technological culture and creative identity from the past to the present. Also it shares the research of the recent industrial structure and policy alternatives to detect the direction of the urban manufacturing industry. It is understood as a pending issue of Seoul where real estate development, historic preservation and urban regeneration policy intersect in the international topography of urban manufacturing that is being studied in large cities in Europe and USA.
