Democracy in Focus: A Snapshot in South Asia & Europe
The 2025 calendar project, titled "Democracy in Focus: A Snapshot in South Asia & Europe" aims to capture the essence and diversity of democratic practices in South Asia and Europe. The 2025 calendar will feature powerful photographs highlighting the vibrant democratic traditions and the various ways in which people engage in the democratic process. Through this initiative, we seek to explore and celebrate how democracy is viewed and experienced differently across cultures, emphasizing its universal importance and the unique expressions it takes around the world.
The Regional Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom South Asia invites people to join this initiative to show your perspective on how you see democracy in your respective country or region. Selected images will be featured in the 2025 calendar and published on the Foundation's social media channels.
Participation is only open to individuals in South Asia and Europe.
