Finishing an unfinished Symphony
On Thursday, 12 November 2020, MIAGI - Music is a great Investment partnered with FNF Africa to present a live-streamed roundtable event “Finishing an unfinished Symphony”. The event is a follow up to the MIAGI documentary film "An unfinished Symphony" that was premiered by The Nobel Prize and National Geographic in May 2020 (link: https://youtu.be/VllbifRKR5s). MIAGI’s underpinning philosophy is that ‘Music is a great Investment’ and can contribute to a cohesive society.
The event included the screening of ‘An Unfinished Symphony’, the 20 minutes documentary film by Academy Award winner Orlando von Einsiedel about Music is a great Investment, MIAGI’s work in the context of the legacy of Nelson Mandela, Nobel Peace Prize laureate 1993 that was world premiered in May 2020 by The Nobel Prize and National Geographic.
The film was the anchor point for the roundtable discussion. There wasl also a live music performances by MIAGI’s young musicians.
The roundtable was with seven panelists from two continents, Africa and Europe and countries, South Africa, Germany, Kenya, Senegal and Sweden was moderated by Bongani Bingwa from talk radio 702.
