The Freedom Magazine 2017/18

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom’s involvement in Africa has been around promoting democracy, the rule of law, social market economy and an increased focus on promoting human rights. The Foundation has thus hosted events around the continent, in countries where it has presence, to ensure that the principles that the Foundation stands for are always taken into consideration for the benefit of the continent. The Foundation has a network of liberal partners in the region that play an important role in reaching more people than the Foundation would normally have the capacity to reach. Partners in the form of think tanks, liberal political parties and other liberal organisations have played a big role in ensuring that the liberal message that is supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is heard from Cape to Cairo...
