Vacancy: Join us as a Communications Officer!
The FNF Global Innovation Hub was established in 2021 in Taiwan and focuses on the topics “digital transformation” and “innovation for democracy”, aiming to support the Friedrich Naumann Foundation on its way to becoming a creative innovation platform for liberalism. We are now looking for a new communications officer to join our team!
We are looking for a motivated new team member to:
- Develop, write, edit and publish marketing and communications materials, including blog posts, social media content, graphics and other promotional materials.
- Ensure that all publications, communications and marketing material align with corporate design and liaise with vendors to that end
- In cooperation with the Regional Communications team develop, conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
- Support and advise program team and partners in communication matters
- Assist in proofreading and fact-checking the foundation's online contents and press articles
- Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach
- contribute to our work with fresh and innovative ideas
Our ideal candidate has the following profile:
- You are a Taiwan citizen or have the right to work in Taiwan without requiring employer sponsorship.
- You are fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), German language skills are a strong plus.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism, media or a related field, or have acquired an equivalent amount of significant work experience.
- You have proficient computer skills and experience with design tools such as Canva; experience with Adobe InDesign and Premiere is a plus.
- You have knowledge of the social media landscape, and a good sense and understanding for political context and debates.
- You can work independently and as part of a team, and have strong self-organizational and great interpersonal communication skills.
- You identify with liberal values and are motivated to work in an international context.
