Paving the Path for Voter’s Rights: Call for Entries
Goal
Educating the public about the importance of voting, the electoral processes ,systems, and combating misinformation and fake news on elections.
Objectives
- Encourage creativity in promoting voter education.
- Reach a broad audience through shareable content.
- Engage communities in meaningful discussions about voting and importance of citizen’s participation on election.
Target Audience
- Residing in CARAGA region
- Member of PPVR CARAGA Youth
- Must have attended the Social Media workshop of People Power Volunteer for Reform last October 2024 or other youth training activities of PPVR Caraga.
1. Relevance to Theme (30%)
Aligns with the theme of voter education and engagement.
Clearly convey the importance of voting or voter education
2. Creativity and Originality (25%)
The uniqueness and innovation in how the participant presents their idea or message.

The factual correctness and the clarity of the message.

The overall polish, aesthetic appeal, and technical execution of the content

Ability to inspire audience interaction and prompt action.

Requirements
Theme:
The output must align with the theme: "Empowering Democracy Through Education."
Focus on voter education topics like:
- Importance of voting.
- How to vote.
- Where to Vote
- When to Vote
- Combating voter misinformation
- Encouraging participation in elections
- Infographics/ Poster
Create visually appealing and informative graphics to educate about voting.
- Meme or GIF
Create humorous or thought-provoking memes or GIFs related to voting.
- Photography
Capture impactful photos related to voting, civic duty, or democracy in action.
- Video
Engaging video related to voting, civic duty , voter’s education, electoral process and combating disinformation
Format
- Infographics/ Poster
File Formats: PNG, JPG, PDF
Dimensions: 1080x1080 pixels (square) or 1080x1920 pixels (vertical)
- Meme or GIF
Format: PNG, JPG for memes; GIF for animations.
Dimensions: Optimized for social platforms (1080x1080 pixels recommended
- Photography
File Format: JPG, PNG
Resolution: Minimum 1920x1080 pixels.
Content: Include a caption (up to 50 words) explaining the photo’s relevance to voter education
- Video
Accepted file formats for direct submission: MP4, MOV, AVI.
Social media submissions must use landscape format optimized for platforms like Facebook
Duration:
Minimum: 2 Minutes
Maximum: 5 minutes
Resolution:
Recommended: 1080p (Full HD) for better quality.
Language:
Any language is acceptable, but non-English videos must include English subtitles.
Content Integrity:
- Output must be original and created specifically for this competition.
- Entries must not contain copyrighted materials (images, music, clips) unless proper permissions are provided.
Submission Process
How to submit:
Upload your entries in google drive and submit the link of your entries to fnf.philippines@freiheit.org
Include in the email the following details:
- Title of the entry
- Names of team members
- Short Description
- Caption for posting
Final outputs will be uploaded on FNF Facebook Page
Deadline:
All entries must be submitted by January 15, 2025
Disqualification Criteria
- Output containing hate speech, or any offensive content.
- Submissions failing to meet technical requirements (e.g., duration, format).
- Late submissions (entries after the deadline will not be considered).
