The ceremony commenced with an address by Jörg Dehnert, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa for FNF. Dehnert emphasized the enduring partnership between the foundation and Jordan, stressing the shared commitment to liberal democracy and individual liberty. "Jordan is an incredible host country that welcomed not only the foundation but also my family with open arms," he remarked, setting the tone for an evening of reflection on the accomplishments achieved through this collaboration.

Dr. René Klaff, Head of the International Department of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, delivered a keynote address, emphasizing Jordan’s strategic importance and development within FNF's regional operations.
