As the political landscape becomes trickier to navigate, and the risk of political fatigue looms, young people are called to be more active, and step up as leaders.

This was the aim of the Youth Leadership Training Seminar for students in the CARAGA region on January 26-27, 2017. 80 participants from Butuan city, Agusan del Sur, Surigao City, and Surigao del Sur joined the activity to have a deeper appreciation of the national and community situation where the the youth is called to leadership.

"We introduced leadership based on a balance of academic excellence and social responsibility, anchored on good moral values towards nation-building," said Chit Asis of the People Power Volunteer for Reform (PPVR) who spearheaded the program.

FNF supported the seminar. "We always question millennials' interest in national affairs, but it is not true that they are indifferent. We only need to provide the platform, and engage them," remarked FNF Country Director Wolfgang Heinze.
