Annual Meet of Humboldt Fellows: Building Stronger Ties
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) hosted the Annual General Meeting of the Jordanian Club of Humboldt Fellows (JCHF) on October 17, 2024, in Amman. Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Dr. Bertram von Moltke, the German Ambassador to Jordan, the event gathered influential figures dedicated to enhancing collaboration between Germany and Jordan across various sectors.
The meeting started with opening remarks by Ayah Al-Majali, the project coordinator/ MENA, who set the tone for the discussions ahead. Following her introduction, Mr. Joerg Dehnert from the FNF highlighted the foundation’s commitment to fostering democratic values and freedom in the region.
Ambassador von Moltke then addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of the German Embassy's role in strengthening bilateral relations. He noted the historical ties and expressed optimism about future collaborations.
