"Deepening the Democratic Transformation and Youth Engagement in the Political Scene"

he Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom held a dialogue seminar followed by a Ramadan iftar at the Fairmont Hotel in Amman, titled "Deepening the Democratic Transformation and Youth Engagement in the Political Scene." The seminar was sponsored by His Excellency Mr. Ayman Al-Majali, who thanked the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for the kind invitation and emphasized the importance of the role of youth in modern political and party life.

Also participating in the panel discussion were Mr. Raed Al-Adwan, representing the Independent Election Commission, Mr. Omar Al-Jazzy, a member of the Royal Committee for Enhancing the Political System, and Mr. Omar Al-Muhidat, representing youth, in a discussion session in which viewpoints were exchanged on how to address youth interaction in party life and what obstacles stand in their way.

A large number of attendees participated in asking questions and discussing youth issues and the difficulties they face when joining party life, as well as ways to empower them politically, train them, educate them, and increase their knowledge to obtain the desired effective participation.

On the other hand, several dignitaries, businessmen, politicians, and representatives of political parties in Jordan participated in the dialogue seminar. At the end of the seminar, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation welcomed the esteemed guests and invited them to an iftar meal, thanking them for their attendance and active participation during the meeting.”
