Special lecture: Social welfare in Germany-a role model for Korea?

On April 18, FNF Korea hosted a special lecture entitled ”Social welfare in Germany-a role model for Korea?”. The event was hosted in cooperation with the FNF Alumni association and ADeKo (Alumni Network Germany- Korea).

Opening remarks were delivered by Ku Myung-suk, President of FNF Alumni Association, and by Dr. Chrstian Taaks, Head of FNF Korea.

The presentations given by Dr. Taaks and Professor Won-Sub KIM at Korea University were met with great interest and a variety of questions showed the curiosity of the audiences. Through this special lecture, participants compared the social security systems of Korea and Germany and drew lessons for the two countries. More than thirty participants took part in the event.
