Zahir HADIBI holds a PhD in Sociology (University of Murcia and Bejaia) and a Master's degree from the IEP (Sciences Po Toulouse). He is currently a lecturer-researcher in the Department of Sociology at the University of Bejaia (Algeria).
His research interests include borders, informal economy, international migration and refugees. He is coordinator of a Jean Monnet project on international migration. He has participated in research projects and published reports, chapters and articles in national and international journals. He is coordinator of a Jean Monnet Module (Erasmus plus) project on European institutions and international migration.
