Paving the Path for Voter’s Rights: Call for Entries
Goal
Educating the public about the importance of voting, voter registration, the electoral process, and combating misinformation
Objectives
- Encourage creativity in promoting voter education.
- Reach a broad audience through shareable content.
- Engage communities in meaningful discussions about voting
Target Audience
- Participants must have public social media accounts for submission visibility
- Residing in CARAGA region
- Have attended the Social Media workshop of People Power Volunteer for Reform last October 2024
Judging Criteria
1. Relevance to Theme (30%)
Aligns with the theme of voter education and engagement.
Clearly convey the importance of voting or voter education
2. Creativity and Originality (25%)
The uniqueness and innovation in how the participant presents their idea or message.

unique storytelling, visuals, or techniques
3. Accuracy and Clarity of Message (20%)
The factual correctness and the clarity of the message.
Facts and figures accurate and sourced from credible references.
Easy to understand and free from jargon.
Does the entry avoid misinformation or ambiguity?
4. Visual and Audio Quality (15%)
Technical execution and presentation of the video
5. Engagement and call to action (10%)
Video’s ability to inspire audience interaction and prompt action.
The overall polish, aesthetic appeal, and technical execution of the content.
Video Requirements
Theme:
Focus on voter education topics like:
- Importance of voting.
- How to register as a voter.
- Combating voter misinformation.
- Encouraging participation in elections.
Duration:
Minimum: 2 minutes
Maximum: 5 minutes
Format:
Accepted file formats for direct submission: MP4, MOV, AVI.
Social media submissions must use landscape format optimized for Facebook.
Resolution:
Recommended: 1080p (Full HD) for better quality.
Language:
Any language is acceptable, but non-English videos must include English subtitles.
Content Integrity:
- Videos must be original and created specifically for this competition.
- Entries must not contain copyrighted materials (images, music, clips) unless proper permissions are provided
Submission Process
How to submit:
Upload your video in google drive and submit the link of your video to fnf.philippines@freiheit.org
- Include in the email the following details:
- Title of the Video entry
- Names of team members
- Short Description of the Video entry
- Caption for posting
Final outputs will be uploaded on FNF Facebook Page
Deadline:
All entries must be submitted by January 30, 2025
Disqualification Criteria
- Videos containing hate speech, or any offensive content.
- Submissions failing to meet technical requirements (e.g., duration, format).
- Late submissions (entries after the deadline will not be considered).
