Maduro, Step Aside for Democracy in Venezuela
Despite authoritarian pressure, the Venezuelan people voted overwhelmingly for Edmundo González Urrutia and against the dictator Nicolás Maduro. Yet, Maduro refuses to acknowledge his defeat. Liberal opposition leader María Corina Machado has called for global protests.
