Liberal Perspectives on Climate Justice and Smart Cities
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom's Africa Regional Office together with Liberal International is working on liberal perspectives on Climate Justice and Smart Cities. Although Africa is among the continents with the least negative impact on climate change, according to the UN, it is one of the greatest sufferers. 1.3 billion people live on the African continent. This number is expected to double within the next 32 years.
To advance the discussion, FNF Africa has commissioned translations of publications by our Liberal Institute in Berlin, which can be accessed via the following links:

In addition, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Africa, with the support of the Africa Liberal Network and Liberal International, issued a call for proposals for a Climate Change Project in February: Smart Cities - low carbon growth and adaption to climate change in both a metropolitan as well as a social enterprise community project.
FNF Africa is looking for an innovative project implementing green solutions to environmental challenges of cities or communities. This climate change project seeks solutions to the extent that infrastructure policies and market mechanisms can help to manage the impacts of climate change by applying democratic practices and good governance to citizens in Africa.
The winners will be announced on our Facebook page shortly.
